Ton van de Laar

My name is Ton van de Laar, a timeless artist. I live and work in Prinsenbeek near Breda and I am 78 years old. I like beautiful things and a good feeling and I make impressions of everything that fascinates me and that I experience as pleasant. Every now and then I also show what really worries me, that's true. I get my impressions wherever I am, at home or traveling, organic shapes fascinate me the most, which is strange. My favorite medium is oil paint that is applied to canvas without brushes with structure, but there are also spontaneous sketches based on models with charcoal and works with acrylic.
