Payment methods in web shops

If you already have one Payment Service Providers you can choose between different payment methods for your webshop. A payment method is exactly what the word implies; namely a method for your customers to pay on your webshop. Well-known payment methods include iDEAL, PayPal, Klarna and Apple Pay.

As soon as customers want to pay, they can choose between the different payment methods offered on your webshop. If you want to start a successful webshop, it is important that customers can pay with the most popular payment methods. This creates trust with the customer and also prevents payment problems. No one is going to buy something if they are not sure whether their money will arrive in good hands. That is why, as an entrepreneur, you must ensure that you can offer well-known and trusted payment methods.

So it is smart to choose between the most popular payment methods. These are iDEAL for the Netherlands, Bancontact for Belgium and Giropay for Germany. PayPal, Klarna (Afterpay) and Apple Pay are also commonly used payment methods. We highly recommend choosing these payment methods for your webshop to keep your conversion optimal.
