Responsive

Good design is responsive, but what does that mean?
A responsive design adapts to the image size of the device with which the visitor visits your website. This way, your visitors always have a decent-sized page on their screen, regardless of whether they visit your webshop on a PC or on their mobile phone.

A sleek webshop design can be a lot. However, it has the same basis: a page with clear, geometric color areas, not too many bells and whistles, and a nice color palette. Then you can add nice additions and a sleek logo that uses (approximately) the same colors as the rest of your webshop.

Use appropriate colors

How do you determine what colors you should use in the design of your webshop? First look at your offer. Do you have a garden supplies store? Then use green. If you put glass you can use very light blue and if you have a clothing store you can use any color. Secondly, you need to look at your target audience. Is this mainly a young adult? Then it is best to combine a shade of white with another bright color. If it is a bit older, a shade of gray also works in combination with other darker colors. Don't use too many different colors.

Choose beautiful images

A good design has beautiful images that go together with the color palette. Make sure that these relate to your range. You should try to keep unrelated matters at bay.
Other things to look for is nice contrast within the image, especially in terms of tones. You should also look at the resolution of the images you will use, so that they look good in your webshop.
